Tens of thousands of visitors are expected to flood into Port Aransas during the holiday period. Most Texas colleges (and perhaps most high schools) will observe March 10-16 for Spring Break. That includes the Port Aransas Independent School District. “We are booked, according to Condo/residential property manager Martha Dore of “Life in Paradise” a company that manages 52 rental properties. Ann Bracher Vaughan said some accommodations still are available. But they’re filling up fast. Vaughan is president and CEO of the Port Aransas Chamber of Commerce Tourist Bureau. “I would anticipate we’re going to have another busy Spring Break,” Vaughan said.
